Education Needs a Digital Upgrade

     The writer, Ms. Davidson, speaks for technology strongly. She speaks so strongly about her thoughts on technology because of the valid statements she makes throughout her blog. She thinks that the teachers are sort of denying the children the use of learning with technology that they actually need to acquire the knowledge for jobs that they will have in the future. Some people see it as a distraction but Ms. Davidson sees it as if it a need to allow them to succeed and be prepared for the coming jobs of their future.
Ms. Davidson states that she believes that teaching more with technology and allowing the kids to use it is not so demanding because of the elder teachers who do not have part in knowing a lot about it. Therefore, they do not really see the big deal in teaching it to the students; most people will argue that technology is too big of a distraction to the kids. As for her thoughts, she thinks that they truly need to be able to experience and explore more with it so they will not be lost in the future. She believes that jobs in the future are going to be more advanced in the future and to obtain one, one will need to know things about technology.

I believe that technology should be taught in the classroom more often than simple worksheets. These children need to have the knowledge to be able to work with technology so they will be aware of these things when the new/advanced jobs appear in the future. So i think that this how a average classroom should look, with teachers helping the students learn more about technology and working together.
